Learn to play aggressively is an important quality to play poker, especially Texas Hold'em. Being aggressive is the opposite of being passive, that is to say that you bet and try more often instead of just to check and follow in his hands.

The aggressive poker opens more easily the doors of success a passive approach of the game, this is why most recognized players are aggressive.

It is essential that you are able to adopt an aggressive style of strategic game. But being aggressive does not bet and raise whenever possible.

Aggressive play involves betting and raising when you have an advantage over your opponents. Advantage by means of better maps, better position, or better poker authorized them. Aggression is advantageous only when keeping a cool head and that intelligently chooses the right time to bet and raise.

Example of aggression in poker

Let's say you have AK and the flop is 7 KT.

You have top pair and top kicker, which is a good hand, but can also be easily beaten the turn (especially the table is coordinated with two cards of the same color). If your opponent bets, you have to be aggressive and raise to protect your hand because you do not really want the opponent towards another card and can improve his hand (which may be better than yours) .

The table is relatively coordinated and your opponent could very well bet with a worse hand (like a draw or a pair weaker). Your main objective is to be aggressive and bet enough to give your opponent a bad pot odds to monitor and improve his hand, that way you will be able to win the pot on the flop. This is by far the best move to do (and not be passive and follow) since it also lets you take advantage of the possibility of turning.

This is a major advantage of an aggressive strategy: it can help you avoid putting yourself in difficult situations in the middle of a hand. There are many other advantages to choosing an aggressive approach to the game

Play aggressively, you can earn more money by giving your opponents a bad pot odds to call with prints, but also because it allows you to increase your fold equity.

Use aggression to buy positions

"Buying positions" means that you push the opponents intervene after you in hand to give the pot round of betting pre-flop.

For example, it has two positions the button in a silver with Q J. Everyone is lying to you, unless a player who has limp. If recovery 4BB and the player sitting next to the button layer, "bought a position" for the rest of the hand.

It will be the last to speak for the rest of the hand, which gives us a significant advantage over other players who will follow after the button. Again, aggression wins passive play, because if we were content to follow the player sitting next to the button (or the button itself) would certainly also followed, and there would not the most favorable position for the rest of the hand.

You can eliminate most of players involved in the hand after you, the more you an advantageous position.
